Star Rating:
Bride of the Shadow King blew my expectations. It was a captivating read that had hooked the entire time. The story was well-developed and it made me feel like I was in the story.
The characters were just as amazing. I loved Faraine and Vor. I enjoyed their interactions from the moment they first met. I did expect Vor to choose Faraine instead of her sister and was slightly disappointed when he did not. It did compel me keep on reading to find out how it was going to turn out. I did not see that plot twist coming. It made things much more intense and I admit that I was kind of glad that Faraine was getting a chance but not the way it all happened.
I am definitely going to read the rest of the series to continue with Faraine and Vors’ story. I am rooting for their happy ending.
I highly recommend giving this book a read. It will leave you craving for more.
